Stelios Koudounaris AXDW..

Hello everyone! Being only few days away from AXDW we thought it would be nice to share some more information about the designers who take place in. After Dimitris Srtrepkos and Celebrity Skin we present to you Stelios Koudounaris. He was born in Cyprus in 1981 and raised in a family fashion business. After studying Fashion Design and Garment Manufacture he moved to Athens and worked for some leading Greek fashion Business as a fashion designer and stylist. His collections are mainly driven by some rock and wild elegance always worked in such a way to elect a woman’s body. His minimal approach to female sexiness evolves through a mixture of razor-cut clear designs and futuristic mood.
Check out his spring collection..

The Spring/Summer 2011 collection is called «Le Prostitute Medievali”. Gathered volumes, revisited fabrics and a new version of femininity through simplicity and comfort ability. This season it’s about purity. The forms of the clothes are approached with a very gentle disposition without attempting to be exaggerating or edgy. Khaki, beige, pure white and of course black are the main colors of the designer’s spring color palette. Just like the title of the collection, the point is not to be provocative. Be pure, be authentic and push things to the limit if you and your aesthetics oblige you to. The way a Prostitute Mediavali would be.

Can’t wait to see his upcoming collection on 19th March at 19:30 at AXDW !

    Iam a senior writer in an italia magazine.I have attented a few shows in Athens in order to cover some new talents.I think greek designers have to open their eyes to see beyond greek design…thats my comment.The only greek designer that i spotted out is celebrity skin!!I think you bloggers should be more critical!
